Messenger / Liaison

URGENT FULL TIME POSITION Station: Dumaguete

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Reasonable work experience as a Messenger in a Sales Environment is an advantage
  • Good oral/written English communication skills advantage
  • Good with numbers / keen on details
  • Good organizational skills
  • Interest or knowledge in SCUBA diving is an advantage but not required
  • Resourceful team player, and flexible to adapt to new ideas and procedures
  • Result-oriented, can work with minimal supervision
  • Willing to be assigned in other Branches as “Temporary Reliever” or a ‘Replacement” of another employee

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Messenger work – perform the following in close coordination with Branch Supervisor and Sales Associates, to be able to maintain customer satisfaction and avoid complaints:
    • Pick-up/Delivery of Branch shipments at/to designated courier’s location
    • Delivery of Orders to various customer’s location
    • Gather the items for the Branch month-end pullout
  • Warehouse Maintenance
    • Maintain clean and organized Stockroom/Warehouse and power storage of items including FIFO arrangement
    • Unloading/Unpacking and Receiving items from Warehouse, verifying Merchandise Issuances and reporting discrepancies if any.
  • Showroom Maintenance
    • Maintain clean and organized Showroom and complete display items
    • Replenishment of Sold Items – check daily Invoices for sold items
    • Updating Price tags, Item Feature tags, & Product barcodes
    • Maintain flyers for each promotion and replenish as soon as it drops to 5 pieces
  • Assist Sales Associates in handling customer inquiries and orders
